Dream-Land-Escapes

Inspired by folklore and fantasy tales of enchanted forests and mystical realms, these images bring a dream-world to life. By playing with the boundaries of photography, these 'Hyper-Real' landscapes question our traditional sense of reality and give the viewer a place for their imagination to explore, play and even escape to.

Australian Coast

These panoramic shots were taken while traveling the east coast of Australia last September.

Zhangjiajie National Park

These are a selection of images taken in Zhangjiajie National Park, China.

Beach Walk

Yosemite National Park

The folowing are images I took on my travels through Yosemite National Park, California.

Waterfall

This is a small colage I did of a waterfall in Yosemite National Park, California.

Church Ruins

These images are taken from inside the ruins of an old small church in Glendalough.

Arc de Triomphe

As I was walking across Ave des Champs-Elysées I looked up towards the Arc de Triomphe and saw that the sun was just perfectly in the center with these amazing rays coming from it. I had to take a photo.

Sunbeams and Roof Beams

This is a small old building I found down the country that I just had to photograph. It used to be a petrol station years ago. The owner isnt doing anything with the land that its on so the building was just abandoned.

Night Fire

A few weeks ago, somebody set fire to all the Gourse bushes on Killiney Hill. The fire was so big you could see the flames lick the sky from miles away. So I got my camera, went up, and took some shots.

Fun in the Forest

It was about 3am and while on the way home from a friend's house this really thick fog started to roll in. I raced home, got my camera and drove up to the forest on Killiney Hill and took some shots. The light used is simply my car driven right up to the forest edge and then hidden behind trees.

Black and White Exhibition

This series of pure Black+White images were for an exhibition I had. Some were also taken for my friend's band, Jupe.

The final image is of my friend and is one of the images taken for his band. One of my friend's traits is wearing things that are black and white check: wrist band, belt, etc. So the check colours became a symbol for his music.
If you were to explain how somebody can be so good or passionate about something, a common saying is that the person ‘has it in their bones’. I believe that my friend has music in his bones. Which got me thinking: If you cound see his bones, what would they look like?
My guess: Black and White Check…
